Fall Safety - Energy Systems
This class will cover the basics of injuries associated with the use of fall arrest systems. Included in the class are: the definition of a fall, the five phases that make up a fall in a personal fall arrest system, and the potential hazards and/or complications associated with each of the five phases. Hypothermia Safety Training- Energy Systems
This presentation covers the dangers of hypothermia while working around energy systems and the three reactions that are likely to occur if you fall into icy water. The presentation will also discuss how long symptoms generally take to appear and explain why this information is important to know. At the completion of this training, the trainee will be able to explain what hypothermia is and how it can affect you if you fall into water that is near freezing.
