For more than half a century, Workforce Training at the College of Technology has held an important role in keeping Idaho's workforce up to date and motivated. During that time our name has changed, our college's name has changed, and the whole profession's name has changed. Even more important, the entire workforce has changed several times. Needing to do everything faster and better, almost every aspect of technology is changing at an increasingly rapid pace. You find you need training and retraining in order to keep your skills and marketability current.
Workforce Training works with employers in delivering customized training to meet the needs of their employees. We'll meet with you to identify your firm's needs. We can help determine if training is a solution to those needs. We can help you identify the following:

Our staff will follow up on resources available through your business, or we can locate new assets and put them in place for you. Our College of Technology is large enough to possess impressive resources, yet small enough to foster a family feeling among our campus experts. Additionally, we are a proud member of the Idaho Workforce Training Network (WTN). This network is comprised of the six technical colleges in Idaho plus members from the Idaho Department of Labor and Commerce. All members are willing partners who are available to customize training suited to your specific needs. In Idaho, we know that a well-trained workforce is critical if Idaho is to remain competitive. We are all ready to provide training tailored to your specific needs.
